Carolina Sartain
Carolina A. Sartain Fuentealba is originally from Chile. She has two bachelor degrees in English Language Literature and, Linguistics & Teaching. She has a Master Degree in Educational Leadership with a mention in Technology from Kennesaw State University, GA. She has vast experience in teaching ESL and Spanish from elementary levels to College. In 2011-2012 she was the Instructional Leadership for Technology at North Georgia State College and University where she created a special program on Web-based Instruction. She also has experience in teaching Spanish in immersion programs at elementary and advanced levels. Carolina is well traveled in South America and Europe. She has won awards in poetry festivals, as well as being the translator for famous poets such as Adrianne Rich and Rita Dove. She was honored in 2012 by being selected as a team member in writing the new Spanish Curriculum for the state of Colorado. She is passionate about teaching and learning and she believes that anyone can learn as long as they are willing to persevere and maintain a positive attitude!
